Core Values Exercise For Dominant Men

Healthy, embodied, masculine Dominance requires that we are solid and congruent, inside and out. 

And it is not possible to be aligned in this way without knowing what your values are. Your values are your north star. They should guide your actions and your decisions, so that as time goes by your life becomes fully aligned with what is most important to you. 

Consciously deciding on your core values and writing them down is important, but like anything else, this exercise only matters if you do something with it. 

Below, I have listed hundreds of words that can represent values. I suggest that you go through this list and write down 4-7 of the words that speak to the man you want to be. 

Once you have this list, you'll need to prioritize these words. For example, if your values include wealth and integrity, which is more important? If faced with a decision, will you sacrifice money to have integrity? Or will you sacrifice your integrity to make money? 

At the end of this exercise you will have a prioritized list of what matters most to you. 

What do you do with it then? 

Make a list. Put it in as many places as you can. On the mirror in your bathroom. On a pinned note on your phone. On a sticky note on your computer monitor. 

Look at this list as frequently as you can. I sit down with it for conscious attention each Sunday, to consider my life in the context of my values. Am I living my life this way? Where am I out of line with my values? What can I do about it?  

I also reference it when I'm making decisions. 

This is about building a life you can be proud of. But it's also about being the kind of man who stands for something. A man who knows who he is, and where he will not bend. 

This is the kind of solidity that will help you to exude a sense of Dominance that is so much more than just a title or something you do in the bedroom. And that will give submissive women the sense of safety they need to follow your lead.
